We began six years ago when a group of like-minded animal lovers met by chance. All of us were keeping animals at home and also encountering lost and injured animals on the streets of Shenzhen. The number of lost, neglected, abused and homeless animals we encountered forced our small group to band together so that we could provide better care to these unfortunate animals that needed our help. Many of the animals that were rescued from the streets required urgent medical  attention. This meant that these animals needed to stay at different animal hospitals around Shenzhen.

In October 2007 our group was able to secure premises at the Nanshan Flower Market. We are proud of what we have built and are continuing to build. Our adoption cottage,is supported by two pet care specialists. We are also extremely proud to say that many others volunteer their time and experience to care for and love these wonderful little creatures. Many of the families who had previously adopted a pet also return to share a little love with those waiting to find the right home.

Each month more animals are brought to us by members of the community. Some are health and happy. Others are not so fortunate. We take care of these animals for one reason and one reason only-Love. We wish to help these animals in any way we can.
